Friday

It's been a busy day. I woke up bright and early to collect my medicine from Mount Alvernia Hospital. After which I went back home, then out again in the evening to meet my friends for my belated birthday dinner. I'm bushed.


In the car on the way to get medicine. I look horrible without any makeup. My face was loaded with sunscreen. Oh, all the UV rays!




This magazine comes with 4 perfume vial samples. 4! I take back my word. Yesterday's one wasn't such a good buy after all.

Magazine freebies

I usually don't buy Singapore fashion magazines because it's like paying good money to see a book full of ads and boring contents. Japanese magazines translated in traditional Chinese version are much interesting. I would rather attempt to read that with my limited traditional Chinese reading skills.

But perfume vial samples always attract me for whatever reason, so I forked out my 6 dollars. There's also a RMK foundation base sample inside. Yeah!

So it's probably quite a good buy.

Juicy Couture

I've been watch hunting for quite a while lately but haven't taken fancy to any particular design. But this one over here totally captivates my attention. It's so pretty! Love the design and heart charm. This is going under my christmas wishlist! Oh, how I wish to get it for Christmas.

Weekend

I always love it when Mr. Bear rents a car for the weekend. It's so comfortable. Went over to Mount Alvernia to see another specialist. When will this ever end? It feels so helpless to be sick. I always try to post happy thoughts. My memory is good enough to remember the bad ones, I don't need anymore help. Ah, the drawbacks of a superb memory. You keep remembering the bad things. It's getting harder to be upbeat about my medical condition. Will it end?


This medicine costs me $88 for 14tabs! Gosh!

After my medical appointment, we went over to shop at Bugis Junction. I got earrings at a real cheap deal. 6 bucks for both earrings.







Then it was off to savour on yummy meatballs!

I get people asking me about my health condition a lot these days. I wish it was better but it's not. They are probably going to get sick of me telling them it's still painful and isn't getting any better very soon. Probably thinking "here she goes complaining about her pain again.''

I'm so bushed! Just came back from Orchard a few hours ago.

Shiroi Kobito chocolate was sold out! I knew I should have go on the first day. Damn it. I was having second thoughts last week since technically speaking, I'm not supposed to have chocolate. But heck, now I want it so much!

I'm going to try my luck on Saturday.

I've been looking forward receiving this in my mail for weeks. My 2 months free subscription finally arrived. I used to subscribe the USA version of Seventeen magazine in secondary school. Sure bring back fond memories.

I kinda outgrown this magazine already but hey, it's free!

I applied for the membership since I have been buying a lot of Japanese magazine lately.



I got a gut feeling I might regret if I don't buy so I did in the end. Anyway, it's quite cheap at $6.50.

My birthday present! Love the moisturizer pink jar packaging & cupcake towel.



Mr Bear got me flowers as a surprise! But I actually got a gut feeling beforehand. The flower bouquet was arranged so hideously by that stupid florist. I took out the whole thing and arranged it myself. I think I would make a better florist.



Sunflowers in the vase. I hope they last a few more days!

I am horrified over tomorrow's procedure.

Birthday

This has got to be the worst birthday ever. Can't eat my favourite steak, salmon sashimi and crab.


We got this as my birthday cake cause I can't eat too much cold and dairy stuff.

Went over to our usual haunt for dim sum on my birthday since I can't eat steak :( I'm craving for ribeye steak so much.



Takashimaya was having storewide 15% direct discount! Oh, that endless queue... I got the clinique 3-steps kit sample, which is quite an useless product since it's loaded with terrible alcohol, but hey, it's free. Singapore SA are so stingy! The SA actually didn't want to give me. No idea how it got into the bag, maybe another SA put it in. If it's good, I'm sure the customer will come back and buy.



I also got my favourite foundation refill. Actually wanted to buy from this really nice SA but she's was so busy. But the other one was quite nice too, gave me a sample to try out.

I bought 2 disney cookie cutter yesterday. Can't wait to start baking mickey mouse & chip & dale shaped cookies.








From Sasa. Apparently, this is some kind of hair velcro to help hold your fringe when you do your makeup and it won't leave a mark like how hair clip does. I didn't intend to get this but I wanted the free eyebrow shaping service. Ha.



Got this in my mail. Lóccitane have the prettiest packaging ever, probably to make up for their mediocre skincare. But I absolutely adored their Cherry fragrance.



The Japanese biscuit snack I bought that day actually comes with such kawaii packaging inside!

Going off later to the polyclinic to get my refer letter to see specialist. Hope I can get an early date.

I got absolutely no mood to celebrate my birthday this year. Sick and no idea when will I recover.
