Do I look like the type who buys a magazine for a free gift? Of course not.
I'm kidding. I totally bought it because of the free gift. And it doesn't hurt that the dress on the cover is gorgeous! This is going to my pile of old bridal magazines which I bought out of pure boredom the last time.
Note to self in 2012: Bridal industry are E-V-I-L. Even the mags are expensive. Only purchase nearer to D-Day. Oh, and do not, I repeat, do not get sucked into the whirlwind world of frivolous items and obscene prices out to get you. I can hold my wedding without the $300 bridal car flowers, thank you very much.
And that's why I can never be a romantic. Beneath all that dresses and frilly laces is a bride-to-be who could likely drown the bridal industry with all her skepticism.
Someone gave me a rose at Kinokuniya. Part of some festival thing. Sweet!
