The quality ain't that great though and prices are marked up too high. I nearly bought the loose powder which cost $30 because of the packaging and fortunately I didn't. For another $10+, I can get a refill from Paul and Joe! I think Majolica fares better in that aspect as a drugstore brand. I'm not sure about Korean cosmetic but I do know Japanese cosmetic market their price based on age group and not on quality of the product. That's the reason why I always feel so ripped off whenever I buy Lunasol. Hmmph. I wish we have Lavshuca here, which is the drugstore sub-brand of Kanebo.

Why do people still do hard-selling? It doesn't work. Consumers are more well-informed nowadays. Get over it and use a new strategy. I was with my Mum for her complimentary facial and they try to hard-sell me. They literally would not let me leave. I was soooo turned off. And got pissed when she say my skin condition ain't that great with acne scars and discolouration so I should do a facial. She look absolutely shocked when I told her I don't do facials as facials are a waste of time.
I told her instead of facials, acne scars are remedied by using exfoliation which encourage cell turnover. Unless you are doing a AHA/BHA peel, which should be done by a dermatologist. As for discolourations, which I certainly don't have, comes from NOT using sunscreen, stupid. The discolourations I have on my cheeks are actually bruises from the aftermath of my wisdom tooth surgery. Can't she even tell the difference? And what's ironic, she got a lot of brown spots and freckles on her face! So I told her she should use a sunscreen instead of going for facial. Oh, Oops for her.
And kudos to her, after all the backlash, she still try to hardsell me waxing sessions. I got done being polite and head for the door. Stupid facial and spa.
What's worse, My mum ask me to help her book for a complimentary session with a makeover studio next week. I am (-_-"""").....
And she is just helpless at rejecting salespeople. For goodness sake, who cares what the salespeople think, just reject them! When they tell you their sales are bad, just reply with a " Do I look like I care?" What's so hard about that.
