Universal Studios Singapore - 8th May

We finally visited Universal Studios last Saturday. I figured it was exam time for local schools, thus the best time to make THE pilgrimage. I was right. It was like the stars are all aligned for us that day.

So park strategy 101 (which is also the most important) is to zoom straight for the popular attractions.

But there was no queue, so we stopped to take a picture with the character(I think Frankenstein?) before zooming off.

Our first stop was at Lost World. We finished the rides in a whirlwind and headed for Ancient Egypt. The night before, I was looking at the guide map and figured these 2 worlds would be the more popular since the roller coaster was down.

Alas, the Revenge of the Mummy ride was down for the time being too so we decide to head for the rest of the attractions.

The roller coaster ride looks like it will scare the hell out of me. No way I'm taking it ever.

Then it was off to Mr Bear most fearful ride ever. I got the evidence of his distress in form of video. Hehe.

On the ride. Apparently, Mr Bear can't take spinning and spinning around very well. Hehe.

Then it was off to more exploring at Sci-Fi City and New York.







We went for an early lunch to avoid the crowd. And it was so quiet in the restaurant I wonder if I was being too paranoid.

At Mel's drive-in. I love the restaurant decor. Very Cars and Grand Theft Auto feel.

After more shows and rides, we decide to take a tea break since it were getting cloudy.

At Golidlocks restuarant. This is actually a scene from the upcoming Shrek 4. I only realized it after I saw the trailer.

After our short break, it was still somewhat drizzling. Lucky for us, we had managed to finish all the rides beforehand. So we went to seek shelter and visit the gift shops and do another round of phototaking session later.
