Super busy...

I'm so busy recently. No time to update much. Here are the shopping I've done this past 2 weeks. Mostly Disney related.


I won this set of Toy Story prizes from a magazine lucky draw! Except that Buzz Lightyear tin can which was a popcorn combo movie freebie Mr Bear bought for me.



Got this in Liang Court Kinokuniya.



I thought this was a set of stickers but it turns out to be a small-sized notepad. Still cute though.



Tried my hand in making Mickey Mouse Hamburg Steak. Cutesy to the max.

Macrons...success!!!

This must be my most successful attempt ever. I finally got the dainty "feet". Now I'm more confident of making other variations.

I need to work on the filling though. It was not thick and voluminous enough so I think my macaron looks really skinny, without the height of the filling.

I also need to work on the piping and get a proper pastry piping tip. Without the proper tools, the piping was uneven.

Will try to add colour to my macaron the next time. I didn't want to add unnecessary moisture.

Tried out Chilis some time ago but forgotton to post the photos up.


It tastes dry in my opinion. Don't really like it.



But the buffalo wings are so yummy!

Pixar Exhibition at Science Centre

The night before, I was craving badly for sweets. So I bake cupcakes on a whim. Non-butter healthy cupcakes. Yummy.



At Science Centre



In classic Disney fashion, they always have a merchandise corner. Didn't get anything though. Nothing special enough worth buying.



There was also a photo taking corner. I couldn't bear to fork out $20 for the photo. It's at Science Centre, not Disneyland(shrug). I did get to hug the pooh bear for free(see above). Hehe.

We drop by Orchard afterward and I did get this in the end.

My reward after squeezing around the stuffy and crowded basement sale at Isetan. I grabbed the sale items that I wanted and got the hell out of there in 30 minutes. Horrible.
