Macrons...success!!!

This must be my most successful attempt ever. I finally got the dainty "feet". Now I'm more confident of making other variations.

I need to work on the filling though. It was not thick and voluminous enough so I think my macaron looks really skinny, without the height of the filling.

I also need to work on the piping and get a proper pastry piping tip. Without the proper tools, the piping was uneven.

Will try to add colour to my macaron the next time. I didn't want to add unnecessary moisture.
