Honeymoon in Perth Australia Oct 2011

Day 7 - 20th Oct 2011

We woke up even earlier today, to prepare our usual breakfast and also lunch to bring to the wildlife park.

It was about a 45 minutes to 1 hour drive down to Caversham Wildlife Park at Swan Valley region but it was sooo worth it! You get to pet all the animals over there and there's a farmshow too. I enjoyed the visit there extremely! I would say it's one of the highlight of the trip!

Spent quite a while feeding and playing with the kangaroos at the Kangaroo enclosure :)

I got chased by the big fatty kangaroo for food!

My favourite cutie pie baby roo!

After having so much fun feeding and patting the kangaroos, we took a leisure stroll to catch the animal show.

Another fatty wombat!

I pat!

Then it was off to the mini farm to see...

We then walked back to our car to enjoy our delicious lunch of tossed pasta & roasted chicken drumstick. Then it was back to the park to catch the farmshow before leaving.

More patting!

"Cheat" a penny from bearbear to play with this. Lol.

After a fun-filled day of patting at the park, we drove down to the nearby House of Honey at Swan Valley!

Our last stop was to head back to Fremantle for night shopping and dinner but I had the wrong information! Night shopping are on Fridays! Arrgh :(

Fremantle

We took a romantic leisure stroll around Fremantle shopping district. Everything was closing :( but it's a nice stroll at the least. We decided to end the night early and go back to the apartment to chill and pack our luggage.

Day 6 - 19th Oct 2011

Did not take any photos on day 6 :(

We started the day visiting Bearbear's friend house in Perth, went for quick lunch at a random chinese restaurant before heading back to the apartment to prepare for the photoshoot.

We relaxed around the apartment for quite a few hours, before heading out to the small park for the photoshoot at 4pm. After the shoot at the park, we then headed for Crawley Boatshed but the sun have not gone down yet :( We then went to a random cafe to do some shots and break for a while, while waiting for the sun to go down. We then went back to Crawley Boatshed for the rest of the shoot. It was sooooo cold!!! I was shivering all the way as dusk fallen and temperature dipped. It was an unforgettable experience.

I changed back into my usual outfit inside the car and we then went to Fremantle to get our favourite fish and chips takeaway at Cicerello's before heading back to the apartment to enjoy the rest of the night.

Day 5 - 18th Oct 2011

Finally it's time for shopping!!!

We started the day by cooking ourselves a delicious breakfast of toast, egg, sausage, milo for me and coffee for bearbear, then drove down to the CBD area for shopping. Finding a parking space was a headache, we went round and round the area, trying to find a good parking spot that is near the main shopping district. Ended at the City of Perth parking, which was one of the many public carparks with the same name but different streets. Had some trouble trying to find the right one when we got back :/

Our first stop was Meyers, as I need to use the washroom and the ones at department store are generally clean :p

Christmas merchandise...luv looking at these lovely vintage xmas collectables.

Lovely building

Shopping in Perth is so expensive :( I ended up buying one small Christmas snowman ornament only. Bearbear was craving rice and we ended up at this Japanese bento cafe for lunch.

After much window shopping, we then drove down to King's Park to do some recce for the photoshoot.

huge bald tree :p...

Lovely skyline photos taken at different viewpoints...

Dainty flower bushes located around the park...

Pond area...

After spending an hour or so at King's Park, we decided to try and drive to the smaller park which the photographer was suggesting but got lost, drove around for an hour or two I think, before managing to find it. It was quite a small park and there was nothing much to explore.

We then headed for Fremantle to try the fish and chips at Cicerello's. It was sooo delicious.

I *heart this photo so much!!! I think it's the best photo I've ever taken!

Yummy fish & chips!

Walked around the harbour area at Fremantle before ending the day...
