Australia Perth Honeymoon Oct 2011

Day 3 - 16th Oct 2011

Today we are driving down to Busselton!

We spent the 1st half of the day at Busselton, which was like a 30 minutes drive from Cowaramup. We had reserved tickets to visit the Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory. It was rather pricey and not very worth it but I did enjoy the train ride to the jetty. Very fun without having to walk while enjoying the breeze along the jetty. Fun :)

We arrived early at 10 plus but the next train was scheduled to leave at 11am so we did some walking around the jetty gift shop, and then went to rest inside the car to avoid the blazing sun.

Pretty coastline

Lovely beach...

There's a lot of seagulls! Super cute!

We board the jetty train at 11am sharp and off we go....it was so breezy riding along the jetty.

The whole ride was around 5 to 10 minutes and we arrive at the underwater observatory.

Inside the observatory...

It's basically an observatory built from above the sea to under the sea, whereby you can walk down flight of stairs and observe the sea floor through the glass windows.

It wasn't that great honestly, but at least we are seeing through real ocean rather than man made.

Walking along the end of the jetty

It's really breezy and the view was sooo great!

And here comes the jetty train to take us back to the front of the jetty...

After spending a few hours at Busselton Jetty, we headed for lunch. We were trying to look for this pie shop which was raved on Tripadvisor.

Stopped for petrol before lunch...

Managed to found Jester Pies in the end. Love their pies! It's juicy, chunky and full of goodness. Soo delicious.

Drove back Cowaramup to visit Candcow and Moon Haven but there was nothing much.

We ended the day super early then since there was not much places that we want to go. Drove back to Margaret River town area to get dinner takeaway from Chicken Treat (again). Haha.
