Sydney Australia 11th Oct-15th Oct

Day 5
Today was our last day in Sydney and I was feeling sooo sad. We woke up really early and walked to the shopping area since our newfound bestie 555 only start work at 9am and can be a bitch to wait sometimes. Haha.

We had already walked until Woolworths area when Bear suddenly remember that he forgot to bring enough money. I waited for him inside the supermarket while he brisk walk back to the hotel for it.

There wasn't a lot of time to shop as we were boarding the 12.50pm flight that day and had to check out by 11am.

Bear having his last coffee break at Sydney

After having his coffee fix and me grabbing my last chocolate spree at Haigh's, we took the 555 back to the hotel to do some last minute packing. We had booked the airport transfer the other night and it was a breeze and cheaper going to the airport.

I miss you Sydney! :(

Day 4

We were planning to go to the beach today. I was hoping for fine weather as it was raining all day yesterday. Luckily, it was sunny!

Waiting for the lift...

I was wavering between Manly or Bondi Beach. No matter which though, we would have to take the transport from Circular Quay, so we stopped at the nearby Rocks Market first.

We stroll around the weekend market, then stopped by a cafe for a short break.

My birthday cake! It was delicious!

The weekend market weren't very big and it didn't take very long to comb the market. I did get a really unique Christmas glass ornament so it wasn't futile.

We walked back to Circular Quay, bought our tickets, and boarded the bus to Bondi. I think it was like a 30 minutes plus ride and it cost $4.50 one way per person. I missed my 555!

What's better than coming to Bondi Beach and go hunt for fish and chips??? Lol.

The beach was really pretty, one of the nicest I've been too. We also went to the nearby weekend market but there wasn't much to buy. The stuffs there were expensive.

We stumbled upon the fish and chips cafe I was looking for earlier, and we could not resist not trying before going off. Others come to Bondi to tan, whereas we come to eat. Haha.

Frankly, there wasn't much to rave about the fish and chips. The ones at Perth still win hands down.

We boarded the bus back to Circular Quay, then took the 555 back to the hotel for a short break and also to pick up the sleepwear I got from Peter Alexandra so that I can do an exchange at the store.

We took the 555 again to the shopping area and we did a lot of shopping for the rest of the day. I got some really great stuffs at Valleygirl and I was psyched. I remember going to the Perth branch but came out empty handed.

Out last stop for the day was at Strand Arcade for Bear's coffee break and my Haigh's chocolate break.

Day 3

I have booked a tour to Blue Mountains just a few days before we left Singapore. I kept it to the last minute possible so that the weather forecast would be more accurate. Day 4 was forecast the best, but it's was my birthday and I do not want to spent the whole day at Blue Mountains. I want my birthday cake! So in the end, it was a toss up between Day 2 & 3 and I went for the latter as the former was forecast to be foggy.

Turns out, we were really really lucky as there was a snowstorm the day before. So it was not only a fine day but we also get to see snow!!! I was glad we took the tour as it was relaxing to sit in the coach rather than finding our own way without a car. It will not be possible to cover so much in a day too.

Out first stop was at Featherdale Wildlife Park! And off I go to cuddle some kangaroos!

Look at the big one running towards me!

But I want to play with the baby...

The big ones always like me! Lol.

Cute baby kangaroo! I realize I like to pat its backside a lot. Lol.

Then it was off to see some koala cuties...

We spent around an hour at the wildlife park, then it was on the way to Blue Mountains national park. We stopped enroute at this apple orchard which sells the most delicious apple pie. I'm craving for it right now! The road to Scenic World was really really far, we stopped at various lookouts and lunch before reaching the place.

We stopped at a hotel in Mount Victoria for lunch.

 Fish and chips!

After lunch, I quickly went for my bathroom break before rushing to play with snow!!!

After lunch, we stopped at more lookouts.

After admiring the view at the lookouts, we finally reached Scenic World.

We were tired out by the end of the trip and so it was great to just jump on the bus and let it do the work. I was restless sitting on the bus on its way back. Fortunately, it was scheduled to stop halfway, while we switched to a ferry to go back to Circular Quay. I was so glad to be spared the looong driving otherwise!

I luv luv luv the apple pie! I wish I could eat it again!

I wasn't feeling well and Bear went to packet back dinner for me.
